1296 - An extremely fine Caucasian Erivan boteh rug

This early rug has lustrous wool and a rich palette. The terracotta field has columns of small angular botehs in dark blue, ivory, terracotta, mid-gold and light blue. The mid-blue leaf and calyx border has lovely gold floral ribbon guards. 
This is a very fine example of an early Caucasian Erivan rug in great condition.
