1330 - An interesting hand knotted Persian Afshar tribal rug
A classic design Afshar rug with the traditional rows of small ‘botehs’ enclosing the two central diamond shaped medallions. These rugs are from the Shahr Babak region in south east Persia and the boteh is frequently used as a background pattern.
